Infection Control Nurse New

Pride Healthcare is assisting a top healthcare organizationto identify the right person to fill an Infection Control RN opening in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates activities related to the Infection Control Program with an emphasis on the prevention of infection in patients, employees, physicians, and visitors in order to continuously improve patient outcomes.
• Under the direction of the Manager, provides leadership and consultation regarding Infection Prevention to physicians, staff, patients and their families.
• Supports operations in accordance with overall hospital strategies, policies and procedures.
• Provides assistance during investigation of outbreaks, exposures or other infection control initiatives.
• Gathers and reports communicable disease data to the appropriate Health System and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

• Valid CA RN license
• 1+ years of experience in Infection Control in Last 3 Years
• Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS for Critical Units
• Skills Checklist in Infection Control

Additional Details:

• Tentative start: 4/28
• 12 week contract, with possibility of extension
• OFFERS ARE VALID FOR 48 BUSINESS HOURS
• If the offer is not confirmed within 48 hours, it will be rescinded, and the opportunity will be offered to the next qualified clinician
• Local Pay: $55-60/hour
• Travel Pay: $2644 weekly gross = $800 weekly taxable + $1844 weekly tax-free stipend
• Travel pay is based on 40 hours weekly
